quarter quarter

two weeks ago found half a quarter, yesterday i found a quarter of a quarter. both where modern clad quarters cut up and in different parks. too perfect to be a lawmower. somebody with a large pair of wire cutters maybe?

anybody else find stuff like this? something from a movie kids decided to imitate?

I never found a half-quarter ( "one bit" ) or a quarter-quarter. But I thought I had a extremely rare 1937 Half Cent in a park....until I found the other half a couple months later.

Either guess is a good one....lawn mower or someone messing around with bolt cutters or something.

I call it lawnmower money. I found lots of Quarters that have been cut in half, mosty on SCHOOL play grounds

More than likely it was a Reel Type mower, i work at a golf course, and i find them all the time. Have found dozens detecting the course.

I've found a couple pennies cut in half, no quarters yet.
