Why did you keep digging after, say the first 50??
 

Bryan, mainly on the off chance that there were some hammers or other tools. I really didn't have to dig much, after the first inch, I was literally just pulling nails out of the dirt for like an hour haha.
 

Let me know when it's all clear. Should be good hunting after 400 nails are removed. :headbang:
 

there could be some good stuff around sound to me like you hit a bagful of nails that was left behind or a crate that rotted in wyandotte where i used to live the city buried supplies in the early 1900's till about 1950 or so when they started paving the alleys
