Some are very round, and look great in the collection.

Many of them are shaped like this one.

When split open, you see the mollusk.

Occasionally, you find pyritized ammonites

Those cephalopods and brachs are just great display specimens.

Very nice specimens, we sometimes find a
few pyritized Ammonites in a local coal mine, but
they all crumbled in thousands of pieces.
