I have no trouble with other bullets, it's just those darn three ringers! Any thoughts?

Both are .58 cal.

I have solved the mystery. I found them listed in Mckee and Mason's bullet book. The one with the weird base is Yankee, M&M 397, and is actually scarce. The other bullet matches M&M 453, a Confederate sharpshooters bullet.

I told im' they weren't just normal three ringers!
