First is a pix of a spoon that Lowbatts found out in the woods that was enveloped by tree roots.

The park patrol dude was sleepin' in, so we waited and listened to all of Bomber's stories of Murph "backing-in". I guess there's a lot of them.

Here's my DAD re-enacting a scene from the movie Predator. He was dieing to do this since the day he got his Lesche digger I'm sure. If he had one of those self destruct gizmos, he'd probably have laid there in the creek laughing real slow and alien like until I took his picture too!

I had a BLASTY BLAST today meeting everyone and hunting that old place. Everything we dug up seemed to have some significance to it more so that usual. It was really cool thinking about a story to go along with everything that was found. The food was amazing! Thanks Bomber and Goio for all of your hard work! Your food kept me going until it got dark! Ron Shore from http://www.windycitydetectors.com is just an awexome guy for coming out and hunting with us today - I'm definitely getting my E-TRAC from him in the spring. The ACE 250 going to a noobie to metal detecting was just great. He looked just like Ralphie in "A Christmas Story" when he gets the Red Ryder BB Gun... priceless. Hey, next time we'll have to get a good group picture before the hunt begins! Once again, this is a great group of MD'ers! You guys rock!! Thanks TreasureFiend and Twistidd for your guided escort to the loot. I look forward to hunting with you all in the future.

I'll have to post my finds tomorrow after I get it all out and clean it up... let's just say I was going to stay 'til they locked the gate looking for silver, and we got out of there without any problems ;-)
