Purchasing 1 Roll of Halfs Gives Me 3 Silvers Including 1st Walker!

I went to my local Santander Bank today to purchase a box of pennies. The box itself didn't do too bad with 16 wheats. Along with the box of pennies, I asked if the teller had any half dollars. She said she only had one roll someone had dropped off yesterday. I said "What the heck, I'll take it", and this is what I found from that one roll.

I looked at the edges, and this is what I saw. The dark one on the end was a 40%er, and the 2 obvious silvers were showing.


The results were a 1944 Walker Half, my first! A 1964d 90% Kennedy! and a 1967 40%er!

Gotta love those one rolls. Had a similar experience about 2 weeks ago lady said she had one roll. Roll produced 4 silvers including a Ben

Nice finds from one roll. I like it when a bank says they have a few rolls. My best rolls have come from banks with fewer than 10 rolls. I don't like the " how many do you want, we have lots of them " most of the time it's someone's dump.
