This is lead. Any ideas on age and what type of toy it might have come from. Most of the paint is worn off.

I'm kind of wondering if it isn't what's left of a fishing lure. (ya, don't know why my answers relate to fishing items! I must want to go fishing?)
If the second picture was part of it? That looks like a lure, and has the name of one. It's not in the first pic though.
