Wow, that's a beauty! The chips haven't produced for me lately as they are hit regularly by a couple of guys that I know of. I hit 'em every now and then anyway when I don't have much time to go "prospectin'" as my wife calls it! Monty

real nice cross, good ear u have , to get them small ones

I think everyone in my area is broke . Wood chips have produced a few pennies...and nails , occasionally a bullet . Once found a quarter , thought I had found the motherlode !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful find CJ!

;)

If you have the chips all to yourself stuff accumulates over a period of time and an occasional hunt can be productive. However, if you hapen to have detectorists living around you they stay "hunted out". Monty

Monty,I haven't seen too many people detecting around here much, but there wasn't any quarters in the mulch either. Usually thats the first thing that goes missing in a spot that's been hunted a lot. So I'm hoping by setting my DFX in the 15khz mode and using hardly any discrimination, I can pick up the little gold objects that can be easily missed by the others.

Havent had much luck either in chips. Found pennies quarter and a neclace pendant of a music symbol childs necklace. No gold in that one.

WTG, caratjuice!
Nice cross...Keep it up!
Good luck & HH. Pat. :)

Gold Gold Gold where is that Gold Santa!!!! I can't seem to find it. Congrats on your find. WTG
