✅ SOLVED Pulled a “what is it” from the creek

This was found in the farm creek, down stream from where the barn used to be. I’m assuming it is tractor related.
If you can identify it and give an approximate date, I would greatly appreciate it.

it is 6-1/4” long
one end is 3” and the other is 3-1/4” which I found odd.
it weighs 2 lbs 8-5/8 oz.

It's an old disc spool, it's used as a spacer between disc blades
