Pull Tabs

If you think that is amazing, I've found some retro pull tabs. That's right, the ones from the 60's and early 70's with the tongue attached. I am sure you remember them, and I have a hell of a collection going :headbang:

old beaver tail type pull tabs are one of the hardest to disc out of all the tabs

I know from experience how it is to get your heart racing, and then up comes a pull tab. I save every pull tab that I find, rather I've dug it or just see it laying on the ground.

The reason is this:

Shriners save them, and above is the cause.

Them old tabs are pure gold to the Children that are helped and saved. I have four one gallon bags in my basement for the next meeting.

Next time you pull out a tab, remember the Kids and families it may help.

Hi everyone,
I used to save them and recycle them vs throwing them away. A friend of mine told me one day that her son had to go on dialysis (sp?). They have a huge jug that when it is full of tabs, the child gets a free treatment. This is a hardship on the family financially, so I'm all for helping. I think they are going to try to get the local clubs involved as well. There are kids like this in every community. So, if you want to take an extra bit of time, you can help make a difference in a childs life. That's just my take on pull tabs. I've found more good stuff since I stopped notching out the tabs and actually enjoy digging them now. Crazy, huh?
