Hello friends. This is not intended towards any of you good people. But I've just got to get this off my chest. (Maybe this should be a letter-to-the-editor in the newspaper). Like most TH'ers I curse the day that pull-tabs were invented. But with years of experience I usually know one when I hear one, much like most of you I suppose. I don't blame the soul that invented them, how could he or she have known the far reaching effect it would have on us. Who I do blame though (and wish I could ring there necks) is the knot-heads that throw them on the ground. The attached pull-tab was invented because "Bubba" kept throwing the old ring types in the lake and killing the fish. This seemed like a good idea, keep it on the can. Well now "Bubba" pulls it off, (sometimes drops it in the can while drinking?), or throws it down. And how many screw caps or old crown caps have you found that are folded in half? Is this some show of macho strength? Just leave it on the can, (and don't throw the can on the ground either). If you just gotta' pull it off or bend that cap put it in your pocket or in the trash receptacle. Maybe when my grandkids are old enough to start TH'ing the rest of us responsible citizens will have cleaned out most of the junk from our parks and beaches by then. Amen.

8) 8) you have the right , Idea but people don't care about the parks & beachs. I hunt thr parks &beachs to it Just a dam shame ! the people are so lazy . coin Finder ;D

Welcome to TNET. I agree. They need stricter laws when it comes to littering. Might help some too if they actually enforced the ones they have now. Rant on. :)

It's too bad that pulltabs and beaver tail pop tops have a better life span
in the ground than our newer clad money.

At lease they don't sink very fast which makes it easier to get them out of the ground with minimal effort. At the beach, they don't pull that square tab off, they just drop the beer can where they empty it (in the middle of the night, while they are partying in the sand) and go about their business. I guess when you are drunk you don't worry too much about having a clean beach.
