Puffer pulley size

Hello, been building a drywasher, im using a wiper motor with gear reduction maybe 25-50 rpm. For those who used this style what size pulley are you using on bellow side. Currently running 2 1/2 to an 11 inch. I was thinking a 5 inch would be an happy medium.

My Whippet runs in close range of 100 strokes per minute if I remember correctly(?). I would say at least shoot for 1 per second.

i use a speed control on mine,but ive changed the pulley alot,its alot of trail and error.just leave enough room for different size pulleys,also different dirt like different speeds.
