Was buzzing down the highway the other night in the rain. Stopped and took a picture of the sign. Gotta love the history here abouts.

Amen DDWe as Southerners should be proud. This Georgia boy is. So Good to see that there are still some streets and Highways named for our Confetrit' ancestors. As already said, God Bless their Memory. I personally do not believe that there will ever be another army on the face of the earth that will be able to, or was able to accomplish so much with so very little, and endured for four very long years as the Confetrit' Armies did. Both the Army of Northern Virginia and the Army of Tennessee.
Amen DD
Plant them baby's all over town CW22!! Remember to wear your safety vest!!
Amen to that brother. That was one Horrible War. Brother against Brother, and Americans all. One cannot go back and change of rewrite our History, though many, many have tried. Those that study our History know the Truth. It is both a shame and an abomination on what has in the past halfway been taught to school children about the South and our ancestors during that war. I don't believe this part of our History is even taught in schools today. Disgraceful. On every corner is a monument or plaque telling of the action that was seen. I live on a battlefield myself but it is not a park but saw a lot of action. There is a civil war wagon road through my yard. People do not disrespect the monuments here. Hopefully they will not. Let them rest in peace both sides.
