It seems like there aren't all that many prospectors in the northern Rockies. We have a club at Blackfoot with about 75 members, but most aren't very serious. It's as much a social thing as prospecting. As far as I know, the Blackfoot club is the only one in southeastern Idaho. Western Montana is even more sparsely populated. You might see if there is a prospecting store in Missoula, and contact them.
