I'll give you 90 bucks for your pro-pointer

I have both and yes the Pistol probe is twice as deep and ajustable would not worry about it breaking Detector Pro is top notch when it comes to standing behind there product.

The Pro pointer has had some issues with the switch so much for which will last longer.

The main advantage for the Pro pointer is that it will take wet conditions. Dan

Clearly confused you are. The Pistol probe has the switch problem because the rubber rubs on the holster.

Extra depth from the ProPointer

Learned this trick on another forum when you want some extra depth from the ProPointer and it really works. Put the metal blade end of your digger flush up against the PP so it goes off. Then pull the blade towards the bottom of the PP while still holding it flush against it until it quits sounding off. Hold the blade in the same spot, stick the PP in your hole and you'll get noticably more depth. You can also use any metal object like a coin instead of your digger. I just use the blade of my digger because its already in my hand and is easiest to use for me.
