WOW !!!

That's the most Large Cents I've ever seen found on one site - a huge congrats !
Thanks! It’s the most at one site I have found so far. I know there is more, ground is freshly plowed, really airy and not much depth.

Gotta ask......what's up with all the holes?
And Saweeet finds🤘
That is really common with early coppers and silvers, I think they were tied into the clothing so they didn’t lose it and also, early pioneers nailed a coin onto the cabin for the year the cabin was built. At least that’s what I’ve been told

So maybe the square hole is from a square nail🤔
Thanks for the info🤘

Very Cool!!!! You tore it up!!! Congrats!!!

Well done in the coppers, it's a well producing site.
The ones that are holed could of been lost as one drop.
How far apart is the spread of all the coppers?
Not a spill, they were found yards apart not feet, none of the coins were beside each other but they all were recovered on two sides of the site. Usually the east facing side of old sites produce the best( morning sun side)

nice day fentonian man I've only had one day like that concerning coppers in my several year metal detecting career and it was a very good day! Seems like a screenworthy type of place! Good luck on return hunts to come (got to be a few reales there)

also heard of a large cent being nailed into the wood over the main entryway to ward off spirits or something like that

Well done 👏

Holy coppers! Or maybe I should say holey coppers? The most coppers I've had from one spot was 12.25. Though 5 are little npi coppers slightly bigger than a memorial. Rest are big plus a 1/4 cut. It's a great feeling to get in on a honey hole. Doesn't happen that often.

Very nice Congratulations

Amazing to find that many LC's in a single hunt- Strong work- Congrats!
