I got out for an hour after work before the storms came through at my Folsom/Midland site. Found a scraper, tip to a Folsom preform, channel flake, Folsom base and a small Midland.
Everything is Knife River Flint.

It makes my day just looking at them. Can't imagine having a site like that....keep up the good work!

Dang what a productive site you have! Keep them coming. Great little Midland! Love that flint

Next time out I hope you find a Folsom to fill out that top row of wholes!

Thanks man! That would be amazing! I've never found a full one. I was more than happy to find what I got today for that hour I was out there.

For sure! I live about 45 miles from the original Folsom site and find lots of points but still no Folsom...they are laying around waiting we just gotta find em!

Hellacious finds, as always!

Man,that little point is just superb, what a site you have there. Just stellar finds.
Thanks tnmud! I wish I would have got an in-situ of the little Midland but when I found it I thought it was just another piece of flint.

Thanks Huzzah! I'm sure there is a lot more to find....it's funny how many little Midlands I've got from there so far.

I wonder if the same guy was making these little buggers?FB_IMG_1587216953016.jpg20200504_171122.jpg

Awesome Ive searched for years for just 1 on some of the old Indian routes here in Mi. nothing yet. I bet thats alot of fun finding those and Ive seen where people make really cool display cases with those and a few people made a cool table with a glass cover for those. Good job on those artifacts and thanks for sharing those. Stay safe out there!!!!!!! Tommy
