Here it is, a very old New York Chauffeur's badge. Silver plate on copper. The pin on the back is intact on the back too. I found an approximate date...1905 to 1909. Below is a link:

It's a 1929 Canadian small cent coin.

And considering it's 2,020 miles from Edmonton to New York, that in itself is a challenge that long ago.
