I was looking at my account this morning and I had some offers made on some items. On things like these I usually check and see what the buyer is like and if he seems to be a problem Buyer by looking at his feedback left for others. I ran into a couple that were private, I am not sure why but this raised a red flag with me . I am just curious if anyone else has seen this and what are your feelings on private feedback.

Back in the day, private feedback was for "private auctions" and by that I mean they were selling ADULT items. But that was years ago. Back when you could actually see what bidders had bought and paid for items.

I can see that the item you are bidding on may need to be private as in adult items. I do think as a seller we should see how the buyer interacted with other sellers. My gut feeling is the transparency of the sale should be the same for a buyer as the seller that way we both have some information about each other or give the seller the ability to block private feedback buyers.

I wouldn't worry about it. You can't leave a negative for a buyer, so it isn't like there would be anything negative to see in their feedback anyway (at least as a buyer). I would be more concerned BUYING from someone who had hidden feedaback.
