Found in Wyoming. Appears to be flint, fits comfortably in hand.
Is it a cutting implement or just a really interesting rock!

Possibly flaked hand ax or chopper. Looks like something knocked out quickly to do the job at hand and the discarded.

Thank you for replies.... I picked it up because it stood out. The colors and shape were interesting to me. When I first held it, it felt comfortable to hold and like it had a purpose. I could imagine it being used to clean a buffalo hide. Thanks again for replying!
