pretty thing, what is it?

Hey everyone! Today i went out for a little while and found a creek bed with a bunch of broken glass and stuff. While i was digging this item rolled out of the dirt. I don't know what it is, perhaps a button of some sort? The outer edge is metal and the flower on the inside is glass, the back is in terrible shape. If anyone could shed light on what it is or how old it is, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sarah.
