Pretty sure it’s a nail. Wondering if anyone can approximate an age.

Found this in a place with no real history that I could find on maps, but I don’t think I’ve seen a nail with a rectangular head like this.

It looks like a floor nail, they had heads like that. Probably post Civil War.
