✅ SOLVED Pretty sure it is some kind of Spike Chisel, but has anyone ever seen one like it b4?

Found in the Middle of the woods on private property with the owners consent. It looks like a stake or chisel of some sort.

Please share your thoughts if you have any! spike 00.webp It has a tapered edge, which was hard to photograph. I can get better photos and put them on here if needed.

Definitely a chisel of some sort, very cool.
Perhaps a stone masons tool? Looks like it saw a lot of use.
Are there sandstone foundations nearby?

No, it was actually found in the Piney woods of east Texas! Only thing nearby was trees! Thanks for the feedback, it is really cool, I love the sword look to it! It is very heavy! Thanks again.

Very helpful post! I love it when people talk to me in photos! I am pretty sure it is a chisel, I don't see how mine could have had a wood base though because the tip or curl thing on top would have been a problem.

The curly end is from being hammered on. Probably what broke the wood handle in the first place.
