Thursday I took off work and traveled to Erie, PA to hunt at Presque Isle State Park. Got there at 6:30 a.m and spent about an hour and a half with the DFX at the volleyball courts at one of the beaches. I was able to find a metal necklace and an ear ring with a green stone. While hunting I noticed a few other MD'ers going and coming from the beach. No one was hunting in the water, I guess because it was a little windy and water temp is still in the 60's. Around 8:00 I headed for the water with the Excal. I spent three hours in the water hunting from the shore line out to waist deep resulting in the rest of the finds in the picture.
