I have been off of work for the last week. Between weather and other commitments, I was only able to hunt a few times.

I managed to con(vince) TNetter Bladerunner2019 to take me on a hunt. I was rewarded with a buffalo nickel and the fellowship associated with hunting with other like minded people. Thanks Bill!

I slipped out with Smittyman on Tuesday. He has lots of permissions and loves to drive other people around in his new truck! I found this token on the hunt. It's from 1967, Fort Wainwright in Alaska. The centennial purchase of Alaska is celebrated, and the token is good for a "haircut".

On Thursday Smittyman located us a place in the country to hunt. Unfortunately, we were only able to hunt it for 30 minutes. We will return, as it yielded a buffalo, IHC, presidential token and parasol part... in quick succession.

Whilst nobody else was looking, I managed to sneak over the hill and hunt one of my many "secret honey holes". I only have to dig one or two holes, and something amazing WILL pop out. I got a signal in the 70s on the Deus... and it sounded deep. It was in the trash in the bushes of an old home site. Luckily I didn't destroy it trying to extract it from the roots. As soon as I got it in my hand, I knew what it was... WATCH FOB!

It's a 1908 William Jennings Bryant presidential watch fob. This guy lost three presidential elections!

This was my prize of the week!

Thanks for looking and best of luck on your hunts!

What do you mean Smittyman got a new truck? He HAD one already! Christ...

That place with the IHC's and buffalo had great potential. Most certainly worth another trip if Steve is driving;)

Very well played sir! congrats.

You said that token was from Alaska. Dang Tom SM must really like to drive. And is it true you convinced him to trade trucks because his other one was a Police magnet?

Hello tom its good to see some of us are still getting out. I like the presidential coin and the fob. Thanks for sharing. Hh gl. See you soon.

Looks like you enjoyed your time off Tom, so much, that you had to sneak into the office to post your finds. I love the watch FOB and it's history. You didn't have to put on orange vests and hard hats to hunt with Smittyman did you? I'm glad to see that you eked out some keepers during your time off from work.:occasion14:
