there are alot of places here, sharlot hall is a good place to start.
looking up history of the area has brought alot to me as far as old gold camps.
it does take some research to find some of the old places as alot of damage and clearing being done.
make sure that you have permission for the places you wish to hunt.
most people that I've come across are great, as long as you are honest and respectfull with them.
what are you looking for? ghost spots. (camps, towns, settlements?).
