Preform?

Hey y’all I have these items I have collected over the past month from my creek, and I have been skeptical of them. One is what looks like could maybe be a preform. It’s very nice quartz for my creek, though it is damaged. The other item looks like it could be a a adze/chisel/Celt. Though I admit I know nothing about hardstone artifacts. Can’t tell pecking, though the material is smooth and dense. Regardless of whether I have artifacts or geofacts, I thank y’all for your time!

Sorry John, I don't see anything in the pictures that says it has been worked by man.

IMO, the quartz knife is a no-brainer. The other's a puzzle.

Quartz looks like it may have been a core ... where I grew up 99% of the artifacts were quartz and that looks like the high quality quartz often used

Quartz piece looks promising. Not sure about what it is/was. The other piece looks natural.

Thanks for the responses! I will definitely hold unto the whatever the quartz is, perhaps I might sift the area I found it in. Could get lucky. As for the other thing, I should have guessed leaverite.
