Hello,
I found a dozen glacially deposited artifacts this summer. This is the first one I found and it started the ball rolling. The chambers were filled with a hard blond sandstone so that it looked like a blond figure 8 stareing at me out of the wall of the gravel pit. Any ideas ? Large Stone 1 (Medium).jpg

Possibly a meteoroid ? Doesnt explain the "figure 8" but it looks susupiciously meteoristic.

Hello lumberjack Joel,

Welome to Tnet, and thanks for showing this stone to us. Wouldn't it be post glacial though? How'd you remove the sandstone? Infinitely fascinating stone, that.

Possibly a meteoroid ?

Some of Dr. Halley's preparation clears that right up. 8-)
