PRE COLUMBIAN FIGURE??

This solid stone figure was sold to me as a buddha statue. But i knew it was not that right away. Could this stone figure be pre columbian? or North america?

I am not that well informed as to authenticity of these kind of objects, but it looks a little too finely finished to be authentic pre-Columbian to me. Most to the pictures of authentic objects from that era are of a rougher finishe from pictures, etc. that I have seen. Definitely not Asian.

Yes i know, but that is the beauty of this statue because it is so finely made. never seen anything like it. paid 30 euro for it. bargain

Plink it on the bottom with a hard object. If it Pings, it is fake. If it Plunks, it could be real. Their method of firing did not produce uniform results, so it plunks.

Yeah, has an air of modern carved. You have to realize anything most likely carved thousands of years ago would probably look extremely dirty, indians with sh*t all over their hands would of been handling it alot over 3000 years, it would have baked & caked on fecal matter & dirt, way more than that.
