I gained permission to the owners of a house built in 1921. I had hoped to find silver, but didn't. However I had two outstanding finds! A 1740s King George II half penny and a 1857 Prince Edward Island Trade Token. I wonder if there was an older homestead on the property. I think its definitely worth going back again, just in case.

Doll house pieces???
Bottom Row from Left to Right:
1968 VA beach dog tag (here in CT?, lol), 1740 George II half penny, and a Price Edward Island 1857 Self Government and Free Trade token.

I guess you should always check those newer homesites!

People carry around older change even now so the 1857 makes sense, but the half penny who knows! Might be an older house spot, definitely worth investigating more. Might be able to check online also, to see if there is a house site on the older maps :occasion14:

Congratulations on a nice little hunt, with surprising variety. Love the tiny chalice, but that itsy bitsy oil lamp is the cats meow [emoji173]

Interesting finds! I would go back!

The 1740s was pre war for independence and could've been carried by a British soldier in that war. Nice finds.
