Pre Civil War buttons? Great find for the day..

[Lost But Not Forgotten]

I hunted a spot today that I have been to many times for many hours. It finally paid off!
I know one is a artillery corps button, not sure about date. I have no idea about the flat button with the inscription on the back. Nothing coming up online.
They are both in great shape. They were dug a foot from each other by the beach.

I'm no expert but the artillery button looks very similar to the ones from the war of 1812 buttons I have seen.
