I grew up in a house built around 1939
I almost gave up after first year and getting almost nothing
after 1976 thaw - I started hitting my yard and digging everything
and learning the sounds of each signal - I was lucky that my yard
held lots of finds - old coins (got my first large cent - property was old farm before neighborhood was
built) but got jewlry and relics too - kept me going and 76 was a good year
been awesome ever since - keep at it
have no pics from first 20 yrs - this stuff mostly from last 25 yrs

Practice is Always Good:)

LOL I was in Honeybrook ONCE in my life. Is there or was there a place called Van Industries there?

Kick arse, Casper! Only looked at the first album but, man, YOU DA MAN!

Great stuff...!
Just keep practicing and more practicing...!
I am now into my second month with the Simplex, so I understand,
however, you must EXPECT a huge difference in the amount of JUNK, versus treasure...!
A fact of life, your folks never told you...!
Welcome to Tnet...!

Probably wont find much more as this is a mobile home park and trying not to destroy what yard I have.

Trying now to figure out where in the area I can go next to search.

Good job! As you get more experienced you'll want to go back and re-search the areas you started in, there's probably good stuff you will have missed. Even using a different detector will give you finds you missed.

Welcome to Tnet, and a great pass time!
