🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Powder Flask Question

I’m not sure why I think this piece of brass is cool enough for it’s own case, but for some reason it just captures me.

Would like to know the maker of this powder flask, the period (age), the type of flower represented, and whether it is British, French or US?

Brass, flattened with no design on the back. From north Mississippi.

I think the flower is Magnolia, the state flower of Mississippi. and I think it's from the mid 1800s.

I've found one in 40 years of detecting.

It’s the only one I have found. I bought another one, a Colt type, from Meigs a few years ago.

I found the colts patten. with the eagle holding the pistol. I like the one you found better.
