Powder flask I think?????? Any idea how old if I am right.

Found this in a yard from an 1800's house. I am thinking it is a powder flask. Any help would be appreciated.

Definitely a flask, and a pretty cool one... Mid 1800's?

Yep, a powder flask. You have to remember that back then everyone had a powder and shot flask. Nice Find.

Thin sheet metal like that was very popular in the 1840's-1900. I would guess around 1850's-1870's is around the date of your flask. Very cool find, a bucket list item for me!
