Got out for few more hours today.
Found a first for me, a whole toy gun. I usually find the pieces, but this is the first time I've found a whole gun. The trigger works, too.
Kilgore pal. 6 1/2 inches long. 1950s era.

Also found five wheats.

Last one of those I found had a red ants nest in it :)

Nice gun Ken. Wheats are a good thing.

It's dry as toast up here - how about you, you guys get any rain lately? Gonna have to wait for hunting private property until the fall.

Yeah man, it's so dry here you can't even cut a plug and keep it in one piece. We haven't had any rain, not even one drop for at least three weeks.

Hope to get a good soaker for about three or four days this week.

Haven't had a bunch of luck since finding the Barber half and the three Indians the other week.

I need to do some research and find some new spots to hunt.

Where are your finds from the Berg today?

Looks like a gun I had back in the 50's, nice find. Stay cool and pray for rain. :D

Nice to find a complete cap pistol, especially one that old!
Wheats mean "Silver Hiding Here".....

Keep safe and keep diggin'...
