Pounded a old cornfeild all got was a button!

I knocked at a door of a local farmers house and ask to do the field. He said ok as long you fill your holes in he had some trouble with other dectorist not fill them in. Well i went all over the feild and got skunked intil i went to very far back feild and started to get iron signals all over the place. I dug on iron signal and found some old square nail and pulled out chuck of burnt brick and saw pieces of old glass like blob top beer and old mason and got a zinc penny reading down ten inches and pulled out tombac button with werid design on it.
