Tico14, that's a beauty! Good that you have the fasteners to go with it. Thank you. Off to a great start already. My intentions for this thread is to have these buckles turning up from all over the Continent and overseas as well. To see all of the different varieties would be cool. They were definitely used and mostly manufactured in the U.K. Some have found these at the civil war sites or even earlier places. My buckles could have been worn by the North West Mounted Police, Canadian Militia, or who knows what else. If you have any thoughts as to the site and who may have worn the buckles please feel free to add that to your post. Hope to see more! Cheers.
