Possibly exploded bomb found in practice training military base. Found metal detecting in 1920s ww2 army air field practice training base and part of a base too. Is it military or civilian? Or piece of off a pipe? It does stick to the magnet what type of iron is it? The smaller one was 3 to 4 inches deep and the bigger one was 3 inches deep. In world war 2 did soldiers use bombs shell as practice target practice and did they use lathi 39s?anybody know the age on these two things?Can anybody pull up a photo on google of a similar one?
