I was thinking scale weight or coin weight.
Whats the other side look like??

Great find, trade weight like taz420 has posted above, Looks like The sword of St Paul - the City of London Guildhall mark. What are the other marks, can't quite make them out.

I can make out,
Dagger- stamped in London.
ewer -
is the London mark used to validate weights and used between 1590 and 1826.
If that was a "W" I would say William 3 but it looks like a "M" so i dont know.
The other is a crown probably with a letter under it witch would tell the king/queen.

yes I can now see the W below the crown, for either William 111-1V, the M is probably a Makers or Traders mark.

Yeap a William IV (1830-37) Pan/Trade Weight from London, UK.
