Possible meteorite?

Found this stone on the street, very heavy for its size but not magnetic. The street was made from crushed lime stone stones about 20+ years ago.

Why do you think it may be a meteorite? What characteristics does it have that are consistent with known classes of meteorites?

It has a black outer coating, but where this has been worn away you can see a different interior. It's also very heavy for its size and how it stood out against the other material.

It's either a meteorite or a stone I am certain

We call them rocks.Stones are what the guy who says"here,hold my beer" has.

I would go with stone over meteorite on that one.
