I'm thinking candlestick holder piece. I have found many. It slips around your finger and attaches to another piece that holds the candle itsself that you didn't find. My guess anyway. Nice reale!

Found this just a couple hours ago along with a 1765 silver and some flat buttons. Also looks like possible bale seal and a single cufflink
Any Ideas of the one piece?
First object is this candle tray stick holder handle piece broken off and thrown or removen and lost. Age??? Id say 100 years or more probaly 1700 1800s ish colonial. Well at least something similar like in the Photo.Screenshot_20210208-170130~2.webp

Thanks for the information, Yeah I was hoping gun, I will keep with the fireplace andiron I found close to it.

this is a Victorian piece, pretty close!............... another similar handle...very close to your configuration!
