possible error cent

not sure about this one. found it in a roll. Has anyone ever seen an error like this, or was something on the coin when it was pressed between two others. It almost feels like I could flake off the extra but don't want to just in case it is an error.

I agree it is glue, very commonly mistaken for an error.
