Got out today for about 2 hours at the site that I found the Spanish Reale the other day. Decided to go back with the XP Deus HF Round Coil (used the Elliptical the other day) using 28kHZ and increase the Reactivity to 3 (Silencer -1) and found some gold. Acid test reveals it to be no less than 18 karat.

Can anyone date this piece? I'm thinking its either late 18th Century or very early 19th Century piece of jewelry?

It cleaned up nicely. Here is what it looked like when I found it.
