I went back to the colonial site where I found the Spanish silver 1 reale with the elliptical coil the other day and hunted for about 2 hours with the HF Round coil using 28kHz and Reactivity 3 (Silencer -1) and my custom 3 tone program. Found some nice buttons at depth, but this popped out at VID 45 and about 7" deep. I think its a piece of some jewelry but at least 18 karat gold. It cleaned up nicely too. There is something special about using 28kHZ at Reactivity 3 (Silencer -1) and the HF Round coil. I feel that there is also something special about using 74kHZ at Reactivity 2 (Silencer -1) and the Elliptical coil.

This is my first yellow gold with the Deus.

I think its part of some jewelry piece from late 18th or early 19th century. I'm not a jewelry expert though? Maybe a jewelry expert will see these pictures and be able to give some insight into what it could be from.

Cool find! My initial reaction is also 19th century. But what do I know? Not a whole lot!

Sweet find, congratulations! :occasion14:
