✅ SOLVED Possible colonial gold piece?

I found this in my colonial site, along with my other many finds. I am not sure if its old, or its just junk that got there some how, my grandpa said it looks like gold, it rings up around 57 to 60 on my discovery 3300. could someone help me out?

What you have is the outer copper jacket from a modern rifle bullet.
