Need some help with this one....
It's 13 mm and weighs 0.2 grams.
It appears to be gold although the pictures do not show the true color.

I would guess Ottoman Empire. But it makes my head hurt to research them...

Based on the fact there appears to be a face it is likely European and not Asian. Anything Islamic did not put faces on coins except for some rare occasions as it's against the religion, and east Asia tended to use cash coins. Probably France or Germany or something like that.

Looks like the type of 'coin like' jewelry they produce for belly dancers, so not actually a real coin.

I was thinking it's possibly a medallion or some type of jewelry piece instead of a coin, but not sure... "D"

I'll try to get it tested for gold, but the weight is negligible....

It might become relegated to my collection as "A Curiosity."
