Hello Everyone,
I found what I have assumed is a coin (could be wrong) but cannot for the life of me identify it. It was found in a region with colonial history dating back to the very early 1600s, although it wasn't at an old site that I would normally be spending my time. I actually found it in my front yard (house built in 74' on previously undeveloped land).
The pictures with the side light are a little easier to see what is going on and I have also included a picture next to a Roosevelt dime for size comparison. It appears to be made of copper and rang up as a 19/20 on a ML Equinox 800. Any help on identifying this would be much appreciated!
