Possible Bit Boss?

Trying to identify the boss on the right. I recently aquired 2 of them. Was told both in the photo were dug. Deffinetly 2 different versions.

After a lot research, appears the left is civil war era the right may be 1880-1895 era. Can anyone confirm?
