Took advantage of the nice weather and hit a few spots. found a nice little "empty" jewelry box, screws were rusted out of the hinge so I found a few that fit :laughing7: ...Also found this nice pedal bell, inscribed W.BEVIN. A 1868 injun and a few buckles. this morning I found this toasted copper, seems to closely match the 1795 N Wales Halfpenny from the reverse, the obverse is toast.
enjoy....

Too bad close don't count. :)

You either have an 1805 Irish Halfpenny like the pic below, or a Canadian token. I can't say which based on those pics. Can you see/match any digits in the date or tell which way the bust faces? If it's thick like a typical early halfpenny it probably is the Irish 1805 one. If thin, then quite likely Canadian.

its too hard to tell, its kinda thin, but im also seeing "GIO" in the upper left of the Obverse, cant tell what direction the head is, and no trace of any date, id hate to destroy whats left of it with peroxide.

No reason to do anything else because seeing those letters almost certainly makes it the 1805. The Canadian tokens don't have Georgius on them.
