Pool Room Token

Found this token in my yard yesterday. I found a listing for Cox in Fortville, Indiana but with a different token. It was listed as in business from 1920 to 1932. Does anyone know the significance of the design on the company side of the token? The metal is aluminum.

Congrats on the neat token find. Many trade tokens had generic designs similar to the one yours has...was just added to make it fancier looking I suppose. Yours was good for a game of billiards, or possibly a cigar...

Merchants often had different types of tokens and denominations through their years in business.
